It's Monday morning and it seems like it should be Wednesday already. Our family had a good weekend with it being Little League opening day on Saturday.

My boys seemed very timid and quite honestly, forgot what they had learned the previous month of practicing. Needless to say we really need to forget about this game! We play tonight and Devin is going to be my starting pitcher. Don't think he knows as of yet but he wants too and that is half the battle.

We got to spend time with Mackers yesterday while Adrianna ran an errand for us. Boy can she wear you down.....

DJ has MAD SKILLS

Well he did it again....Devin made GOLD honor ROLL for the 2nd time in 4th grade. All A's. We haven't seen the official results yet but I think he may be the only one in the 4th grade at his school that did this. It is hard to believe 4th grade is almost over...5th grade here he comes...

Wednesday, March 25

Yesterday was a blur....wife hasn't been feeling well, I'm trying to keep Devin away from her so he doesn't get sicker and as for me I'm okay. But that all depends on your own definition of okay. It's Thursday so that means it's all downhill for the rest of the week. Woo Hoo!!!!!

My Dodgers team has opening day this upcoming Saturday and we play the opening game for the league. Sheer excitement and nervousness! I have a good bunch of parents this year who want to help and do help when asked. Many of them want to be on the field all the time if they could but sometimes its a distraction for all those 8, 9 and 10 year old minds to try keep up with so many parents trying to teach them.

Our Arizona family as a whole is doing okay. Mackers is growing up so fast and we do not see Yo D near as often as we want, but that is a story for some other time. One of these days our kids will see that they create their own destiny and not think this world owes them something. Being responsible for all your actions is a hard lesson for one of my kids to learn. In the meantime, we as grandparents suffer.....

Make it a wonderful Thursday.

My little league team is getting better with each practice that passes. I have been coaching for quite some time and I figure who better to teach my own kids. Opening day is a short 5 days away and I feel we are prepared for opening day. We get to play the opening game for the league this upcoming Saturday. Is there anything better than fresh cut grass, popcorn smell in the air and the sound of pinging aluminum bats hitting a ball? I think NOT! GO DODGERS....

It's early Tuesday morning and I cannot seem to get going. Everyone in the house is in some stage if sickness and all of us have been to the doctor these past couple weeks. Very unusual as we do not get sick in our home!

Spring Fever....Yea catch it!!!!!!

Devin and I have attended a couple spring training games and were able to get autographs from Dodgers players: Matt Kemp and James Loney!

Spring Break '09 Redondo Beach

We were also able to visit Redondo Beach as Loretta loves to overlook the ocean. Talk about being at peace while staring at something so vast. We got to visit with my cousin's Jeffrey & Jennifer and their new baby girl, Sienna. She turned 1 month old the day we visited. As I told Jeffrey and Jenn, do not blink 'cause she will be borrowing the car......soon!

Hello All,

Today is March 23, 2009 and we just returned back from a wonderful trip to Los Angeles, CA yesterday! Loretta and I had planned to take Devin to California Adventure secretly, but through a series of mishaps to Devin, we had to tell him a day before we left or we felt a meltdown would occur to our youngest and brightest child (oops, I offer no apologies to our older children as they know this to be fact).
